Arnold Stanfield had big dreams, even from the age of six. He wanted to be a professional painter. When he was in his 30s, he surrendered to God's call to paint. He took his wife, who was eager to follow him, and entered into a new era. They claimed their recently purchased mountain in Cosby, Tennessee, and moved onto the rugged, undeveloped land. Hard work and trials deep in the hollow at the base of their mountain, where no one had lived for thirty years, was enough to make anyone run for civilization.
