Description

A Wild Ride . . . RJ Blizzard has crafted an exceptional story that contemplates the best mysteries of the universe, where faith and truth find their way into the human heart. Wayne Jacobsen - Co-Author of The Shack If you had the chance to implant into yourself, the DNA of Jesus Christ; would you? Edward Mayus did. His journey was incredible and the ending will shock you. Edward, an agnostic medical DNA researcher of the heart, is searching for life's meaning. His brother, Stephen, before his untimely death at the hands of an Islamic terrorist, comes into possession of an ancient relic of the Catholic Church. The relic contains the DNA of Jesus. Edward while going through his dead brother's belongings uncovers an un-mailed letter from his brother asking him to implant the DNA into his body. Edward accepts this new journey out from beyond his normal life of doubt, fears, and existential angst. Changes start to happen, and people's lives are forever affected. Nothing is the same anymore. RJ Blizzard has created a parable of suspense and mystery, where the reader can explore, along with Edward and the other rich complex human characters, what an authentic spiritual journey of doubt, faith, forgiveness, and redemption is like. This tale of grace explores what it would be like to be Jesus in today's world. But in the end, the reader's eyes are opened as is Edwards. Nothing is as we thought it was. Wayne Jacobsen author of He Loves Me, Finding Church, and co-author of The Shack says this; RJ Blizzard has crafted an exceptional story that contemplates the best mysteries of the universe, where faith and truth find their way into the human heart. It's a wild ride with engaging characters through conflict, discovery and unforeseen twists that will have you scratching your head until the end. If you're looking for a compelling read of human transformation where religion is not always the best friend of faith, you'll find it here. The story is woven in the style of The Alchemist, The Time Keeper and The Shack with less mysticism and with the rawer emotions, fears, and doubts of humanity. A tale of grace where the thin line between the sacred and ordinary exposes the relationships of trust that only a well-traveled journey can reveal. Edward journeyed well and learned that the thin line between incarnation and human are sometimes the same.

Author Biography:

RJ Blizzard . . . is an author and writer of the thin line between the ordinary and the sacred. The greater distance you venture from this thin space, the less authentic a person becomes. "It's a narrow path, and few choose this space where the Tree of Life grows along the way. Those who live outside this thin space, eat of the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil; where there is no truth, and nothing is what it appears to be." He is a master storyteller who once spoke of these stories at retreat centers and conferences. RJ Blizzard now writes novels about people and their journeys to find the narrow path to becoming more human. When two or three people find it together, it is incredible. RJ Blizzard once spoke, "There is nothing more sacred than a man, or a woman becoming more human. The thin line they walk is the watershed of their life." His novels are authentic life portrayals of human beings, existentially surviving to find transcendence and purpose. The story of life discovered between the grace of both love and suffering is his craft. The ex-seminarian enjoyed a successful business career, in which he made millions. He is quick to recall, "And lost a little more." "When it comes to life, I would have to say that my greatest spiritual influence has been the music of Bob Dylan. I can still remember that day when the words cut my heart, "...He that is not busy being born is busy dying." First time I started to understand what spirituality meant." He loves God, life, music, theater, poetry, philosophy, good wine, Padron cigars, and every waking present conscious moment with God's beautiful creation, especially his friends.
