Author Biography:

Manu Bhagavan teaches at Hunter College and the Graduate Center, The City University of New York, USA, where he is a Professor of History and Chair of the Human Rights Program at the Roosevelt House Public Policy Institute. He has been a fellow of the American Council of Learned Societies and President of the Society for Advancing the History of South Asia. He has also been interviewed by CNN-IBN, BBC Radio, World Citizen Radio, Press TV, and INI9.
