Author Biography:

Elizabeth C Tingle is Head of School & Associate Dean of Humanities and Performing Arts at the University of Plymouth. Her research interests include the wars of religion in France, 1550-1600 and Catholic and Counter Reformation piety in France and Spain, 1500-1700. She was awarded a Leverhulme Research Fellowship in 2013.
