It ends where it all began.
In Insidious: The Red Door, the original cast from the horror franchise is back for the final chapter of the Lambert family's terrifying saga, with Patrick Wilson (also making his directorial debut), Ty Simpkins, Rose Byrne and Andrew Astor.
To put their demons to rest once and for all, Josh and a college-aged Dalton must go deeper into The Further than ever before, facing their familys dark past and a host of new and more horrifying terrors that lurk behind the red door.
Critic Reviews:
- “It is a bit formulaic at this point but if you’re looking for something scarier amongst the big action movies this summer this is not a bad choice.” - Victoria Luxford (BBC.com)
- “The film certainly proves that while repetition can burn out a concept, that notion simply doesn’t apply to the way Wan and Whannell’s beloved series ratchets up the tensions and preys upon our base human fear of being caught unawares.” - Lex Briscuso (Inverse)
- “There's a strong idea here about how important it is for an artist to confront past traumas instead of blocking them out.” - Noel Murray (Los Angeles Times)
