Description

This compilation of short stories, poetry, and lyrics are a glimpse into the imagination and the inspiration that sparked putting pen to paper. Every writer has a unique gift of insight to the world around them and how they face life. Artists reflect those passions and stories through images, musicians through rhythm and sound, but writers through words. The written and spoken word is powerful and can be used to encourage, build, or destroy. Many times I've been asked, "How did you get the idea?" There is no single answer to that question. Inside the pages of, "Into the Looking Glass," I share with the reader where I was, my personal feelings, beliefs, and attachment to the event that sparked my creativity. It is my hope that this will encourage other creative people to make a difference in their corner of the world by employing their own unique gifts.

Author Biography:

Glenda C. Finkelstein is a person who appreciates beauty in all its forms. Music, Art, and writing have all had a part in her life. She is genuine valuing truth and integrity. Even though she played piano for over ten years and dabbled in art, writing has always been at the forefront of her life and counts it an honor whenever she can encourage another along this path. "Some people say that we are living in dark days, but to me the darkest day is the day we stop encouraging each other to press on through our adversity. It's only when we have pushed through that we discover the beauty of the pattern made by our passage."
