Author Biography:

Dr. Alandra Kahl is currently engaged in teaching and research as an instructor in engineering at Penn State Greater Allegheny. Her current research focuses on teaching and learning in engineering and trace contaminants in water and wastewater. Dr. Kahl has published work in peer-reviewed publications, academy journals and contributed book chapters to several texts. She is a member of the American Society for Engineering Education, Engineers Without Borders, American Chemical Society and the Society of Women Engineers. In her spare time, Dr. Kahl mentors FIRST robotics Team 1708.
