After his father is killed in the terrorist attacks of 9/11, Daniel Malone joins the Triggermen and they search out those responsible. However, after discovering a hidden chamber, they accidentally awaken the Kaiju known as Irokus. While Daniel manages to survive Irokus' first attack, he must then band with a new team to discover the secrets of the Kaiju and what part the mysterious Small Man plays in it all. Irokus: Mirror Image is the first book in Dragonfyre Studios Kaijuverse series.
Author Biography:
Frank Parr (Artist) Well known for his work with Lightning Comics, Illusion Studios and his own Newbreed Comix, Frank Parr become co-founder and lead Illustrator at Dragonfyre Studios in 2005. His first Graphic Novel, Irokus: Mirror Image, was a huge hit & sold out, just like his many kaiju prints. His work can be spotted in G-FAN Magazine, and graced the cover of issue #80. In Dragonfyre Studios, he has done work in the music field for Warriors of Metal Fest, GMG Internationale, Lords of the Trident, Fiakra, Damien, Dethrats, Valhalla & Demonwolf; producing designs for t-shirts, posters, ads, backdrops and album covers. Adding film making to his resume, Frank handled the camera work on the Uprising Magazine DVDs and DFS's first mini-movie: Revenge of the Revenginator; of which he co-wrote the script for. Wayne Smith (Writer) Forming Illusion Studios in 1993 and Legacy Entertainment: ACC in 1998, Wayne's work in the independent publishing world can be matched by few others. The veteran writer turned his attention to the world of Kaiju when he co-found Dragonfire Studios in 2005. After writing two illustrated novels, he adapted the first one, Irokus: Mirror Image, into the studio's first graphic novel. He has worked on various music projects over the last few years, designing t-shirts, posters, ads, backdrops, and album covers for Warriors of Metal Fest, GMG Internationale, Lords of the Trident, Damien, Dethrats, Valhalla, Demonwolf, and Johnnie Branham. Wayne also host the Uprising Magazine DVDs & co-wrote and starred in DFS's first mini-movie: Revenge of the Revenginator.
