What are the great mysteries of godliness and how might they be connected to prophecy? Daniel was a Prophet who prophesied concerning the Gentile nations and Israel. His Seventy Weeks Prophecy was given to him for his people and for his holy city. It has been said that the genuineness of a prophet may be known by the fulfillment of his prophecies (Ezekiel 33:33), and Daniel's prophecies were fulfilled to the letter. The Old Testament book of Daniel and the New Testament book of Revelation are both prophetic and apocalyptic in character.
