Upgrade your American Patrol Torpedo Boat with the heavy and varied weapons of this kit. Patrol Torpedo Boats, though fast and maneuverable, were relatively lightly armed. Their chief prey were Japanese supply barges, but their primary weaponry was not made to engage such ships. The 5-ft draft of the barge was too shallow for torpedoes and too stout for the .50-calibre machine guns. Kit features photo-etched parts, radar masts, anchor, 40mm Bofors gun, 20mm Oerlikon gun, life preservers, depth chargers, lifeboat, Mk. 8 torpedo and Mk. 13 torpedo.
