I wanted to create a coloring book that was based on my own imaginative style of birds. For the Birds, to me, means something creative and different. I intend to show that I am not afraid to dream and since I can't physically visit other worlds. I am going to dream about them and then create them.

Author Biography:

The artist of this coloring book, L.J. Smith, has been a working artist for 20 plus years. She has been published in a couple of magazines and has also won some awards for her Ink Art. Art has always been her love and is very passionate about creating it. This is her second coloring book and has plans for several more. Although she loves do do her big art pieces using color ink and brush, Creating these coloring books gives her great pleasure and her hopes are for others to enjoy them as well.
