Soraya Diase Coffelt is a widow and the mother of two sons. A lawyer and former judge, she has volunteered and served as a lay children's minister for many years. In 2012, Soraya established the non-profit corporation, As the Stars of the Sky Foundation, Inc., to assist with the physical and spiritual needs of children.
