Author Biography:

Henry Bell is a historian, a poet, an organiser and a communist. He won the 2019 New Writers Award for Poetry from the Scottish Book Trust, and has written for National Geographic, Open Democracy and Bella Caledonia. His book John Maclean: Hero of Red Clydeside was described as 'compelling and brilliantly written' by Jackie Kay, Scottish Poet Laureate.
