Author Biography:

Jimmy Walker is the youngest of eleven children from an impoverished area of Merseyside. He left school at fifteen and, following several failed careers, managed a local charity and studied Creative Writing and English at the Open University. After some limited success in short stories and poetry, Jimmy became disillusioned and in order to feed his family, he returned to the construction industry.
