Jolly's Sacred Songs is the third book in the dream series, an imaginative adventure about relationships that are tied together, with unconscious content. Take a journey through time. One of the main character's, Jolly, is a sacred, ham of a, bird, sent down from Heaven, to watch over an Angel that thinks she is a regular human. When Jolly sings his sacred songs, his companions as well as strangers, around him, heal. Among Jolly's many friends are an angry, macho rooster from Mexico, a kind, sensitive, cross-dressing Lizard, two beautiful ducks, Tuk from Thailand and Francesca from Italy that love Carlos, the charming, debonaire rooster from Spain, a clumsy Squirrel named Max, Cookie And Chocolate, the related cats and a somewhat sad and hyper musical mouse from Russia that lost his family shortly before fleeing to the United States where he met Jolly and the others. Rain, the middle aged, housewife, human, (angel, ) while unconscious, after hitting her head, goes back into the past. While able to relive her childhood again lifelong lessons are learned and incorporated into the story.
Author Biography:
Rev. Lorraine Blum is an Interfaith Minister and a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, she began writing in childhood, selling mystery chapters to the girls in her 'camp away' group when she was fourteen. Later she worked her way through College and Graduate School performing professional magic shows. Obtaining a double BA Degree in Psychology and Public Speech from Herbert H. Leman College in the Bronx, and later attending Tulane University in New Orleans, for her Masters in Social Work. She wrote poetry and stories for friends and presently writes articles for 'Ezine Articles, online. Her first book, called 'The Magic Experience' (Positive approach to cooking) humorous cookbook, was published in 1976 in New Orleans and is in the New Orleans Library, as well as Nichols University Library. Some years after her formal education she attended 'The New Seminary" and graduated with a degree in Spiritual Counseling. She was ordained an Interfaith Minister in New York City. Some of her other books, are: "Outer Room, Part One & Two" "Cookie Came Home" "Chocolate With His Top Hat & Tie", "Make Miracles & Millions Now" "Power Words (Affirmations)" Born in the South Bronx, after traveling around the world she moved to South Florida with her son and cat.
