Author Biography:

Professor Mehrdad Mohammadpour MD, Eye Surgeon and Cornea Specialist , Professor of Ophthalmology,Farabi Eye Hospital ,Faculty of Medicine,Tehran University of Medical Sciences He was graduated from Alborz College in 1989 as the first rank student and in the same year was accepted as a medical student at the Tehran University of Medical Sciences, School of Medicine. In 1996, he graduated from the TUMS as an excellent student, and in 1998 he started the Cornea Fellowship and after that, he succeeded in completing the corneal subspecialty course, and since 2003, he has performed more than ten thousands of eye surgeries in the field of keratoconus cataract and Refractive surgery and Corneal Cross linking and inventor of many techniques in Combines Corneal Cross Linking and Refractive Surgeries and Intrastromal Corneal Ring implantation with long follow up and success He has published more than 100 scientific articles in the field of ophthalmology in the most prestigious ophthalmological journals. He has also trained more than 200 ophthalmologists and subspecialists as a faculty member in Tehran University of Medical Sciences. He is also a reviewer of the most ophthalmology journals around the world and has given several lectures in the high level ophthalmology international congresses. He is the inventor of several new ophthalmic surgery techniques and the inventor of the first nano - ophthalmology eye drop and currently as an official scientific member of the Department of Ophthalmology, Faculty of Medicine, Tehran University of Medical Sciences, Farabi Hospital He teaches fellows and residents of ophthalmology. He is also have one of the highest H-index in ophthalmology articles in the world. He is also the main author of the "Diagnostics in Ocular Imaging Cornea, Retina, Glaucoma and Orbit" published by Springer and “Updates of Diagnosis and Managements for Dry Eye “Book published by TUMS publishing Group. Assistant Professor Masoud Khorrami-Nejad, PhD. He was born and raised in Tehran, Iran in 1985. After completing his BSc degree, he went on to pursue graduate studies in the field of optometry and vision science. He obtained his MSc degree and later secured the top rank in his PhD program, demonstrating his exceptional academic abilities. Over the past years, he has established himself as a prolific researcher and author in ophthalmology and optometry, with over 80 papers published in reputable international journals. He has played a lead role in many of these publications, being either the first author or corresponding author in more than 70% of his papers. He has also written or edited 4 academic books, sharing his expertise with students and fellow researchers. His outstanding research contributions have been recognized through prestigious awards like the Best Published Articles Award at Iran's annual Ophthalmology Festival in 2017, 2019 and 2020. In addition to his robust research portfolio, he is also an experienced educator. Since 2013, he has taught at various Iranian universities training over 300 optometry students. He currently holds an assistant professor position at the international campus of Tehran University of Medical Sciences. To date, he has delivered over 17 presentations at major global conferences and has served as the scientific secretary for 7 seminars. He has successfully supervised upwards of 40 Masters and PhD candidates, guiding the next generation of academics studying visual sciences.
