This is the first KOBO reader that I've owned and I'm impressed. I have problems with my eyesight, but despite that I can clearly read the screen no matter what the surrounding light conditions happen to be. Touch screens and me don't usually get on very well, but I have no problems with using the one on the Nia reader.
Bought this for my 9 year old and was pretty surprised to find that there are no parental controls on there. Also the filtering for kids content is very difficult and often books are miss-labelled. The result is that she has access to anything and everything and is finding it very difficult to find relevant content for her. Would not recommend.
