The colour is just gorgeous. Write very smoothly and the triangular grip means you are always on the right angle for the ink flow (I was not used to this grip at ALL before this pen but now I write like that all the time!). I got mine elsewhere so I could get the broad nib, but the medium nib wrote very smoothyl as well. I like the little ink window so you can easily see if you are running low. Easy to swap in a new cartridge (or simply refill with a syringe). Highly, highly recommended. I also recommend getting the matching ink!!
