For a Mob based story it must have worked hard to get the R16 classification. Yes there is a significant use of the ‘F’ word and some minor sex scenes but nothing I noted as being extraordinary. Told in a series of flash backs this is a good bio of Lansky. Reading the credits there is an amazing list of Mobsters that were simply cameos, many non-speaking parts in the film.
