I bought this game soley from a review on Geek and Sundry as a gift for my strategy-board-game-lover in my life. And I do not regret it. He is always hard to buy for. He enjoys playing Settlers of Catan and MTG. This game featured in the mensa game list of 2015.
The day he opened this, we played 3 times. Each time we learnt that even though a game of 2 players takes about 30 mins, there is enough strategy complexity to keep learning and help you be more ruthless player.
I typically have to talked into playing board games, but this one is quick enough to remain enjoyable, with enough levels to learn.
We look forward to playing this game with 4 players.
In a nutshell its basically a math game with a artistic premise (enough to hide it's mathiness), in which speed and strategy are the keys to winning.
