"Who needs Modern Warfare 2 when you have this!"

I can't wait for this game, it looks to be amazing. People will believe that this game will be exactly the same as the first but it won't. Why? Because of all the new features in L4D2. Such as 10 melee weapons including a chainsaw, katana and a frying pan. 3 new special infected, the jockey, the spitter and the charger. Improved models of the old SI including a female version of the boomer. Uncommon common infected like the clown and hazmat zombies. New weapons like the Desert eagle and grenade launcher New pick-ups such as the bile canister, which (hasn't been confirmed) sounds like you are able to throw them at enemies like a tank and all the common infected go after the tank instead of you.

Plus a new game mode called scavenge which gives you all the more reason why you should buy this

"Not to Miss"

"Set for release on November 17, the title adds melee combat to enable deeper co-operative gameplay, with items such as a chainsaw, frying pan, axe, baseball bat, and more.

Introducing the AI Director 2.0, L4D's dynamic gameplay is taken to the next level by giving the Director the ability to procedurally change weather effects, world objects, and pathways in addition to tailoring the enemy population, effects, and sounds to match the players' performance. The result is a unique game session custom fitted to provide a satisfying and uniquely challenging experience each time the game is played.

Featuring new Survivors, boss zombies, weapons, and items, Left 4 Dead 2 offers a much larger game than the original with more co-operative campaigns, more Versus campaigns, and maps for Survival mode available at launch. " – Source Release

"So Looking forward to it"

After reading all the previews and hype going into one of the biggest games of 2009 (recession is over or not?) I'm really looking forward to Valve releasing a sequel to their kick ass game of last year the 1st left 4 dead. My only concern is that Will New Zealand suffer the same fate as Australia recieving the watered down version of the game? Lets hope not get the GTAIV farce again.

"A well-balanced, honest sequel."

An outstanding game (a friend of mine got it on Steam so I've have a few runs on it). The familiarity with the Left 4 Dead universe is there, as well as new elements that make this a powerful game on its own.

The A.I is, however, seriously flawed. Valve has promised a patch for this, so I wouldn't let it worry me too much.

Good – Will be Excellent when the patch is released for the A.I problem.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

"Anticipation with a 'good' kind of hype.."

This game is going to be one of the best games of the year. However it probably won't be game of the year because of the huge over hyped titles like MW2.

Its a great game and Valve has done a great job of keeping the public anticipated without creating huge hype. Valve showed the audience some of the game's content over a period of time before release while keeping others until release. Allowing the public to know what's in the game so there isn't too much hype.

This will set an even higher benchmark for cooperative play than it's preceder. Can't wait.
