Description

With an introduction by New York Times best-selling author Sandra Brown, this anthology by the Philadelphia Liars Club contains stories by thirteen talented contemporary writers. The stories are take place in a variety of times and places. They range from crime to science fiction, from fantasy to family life. Despite the varieties of setting and genres, all are linked by one common theme: Each story is based on a lie. Lying takes on many forms, serves many purposes, has many results--some predictable, others not so much. But each lie has unmistakable consequences. And provides a fun, fast-paced, fabulous read.

Author Biography:

The Philadelphia Liars Club is a collective of award-winning writers who work across a spectrum of genres from literary to mystery to history to horror and beyond. We write stories for adults, young adults, children, and occasionally werewolves. We are advocates for reading, writing, libraries, bookstores and books in all forms. We give lively talks and workshops about writing, publishing and themes related to fiction. We do readings, panels, coffeehouse discussions, workshops, and sometimes a little stand up comedy. We appear at bookstores, book club meetings, libraries, coffee houses, restaurants, bars, conventions centers, conferences, anywhere we can encourage reading and writing--and, of course, the mandatory telling of lies.
