Samuel King, originally from Richmond, Virginia, has been in Pastoral Ministry for over 30 years. A graduate from Elon University, Sam's first calling was teaching and coaching young talent in the Public School system. Sam and his wife, Judith, surrendered to the Call and moved their young family West to Texas, where Sam earned a Master's degree in Religious Education from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. Sam and Judy founded Walking in the Word Ministries in 2007. Currently, Sam pastors a growing church in RVA. Sam and Judy have three adult children and one grandchild. Sam is an avid reader, lifelong Yankees fan, and his next big travel adventure is Scotland and the British Isles.
