LITTLE CLOUD SAVES HIS PEOPLE is from the series MAGIC, MYTHS AND TALES FROM FARAWAY LANDS. This particular story focuses on a Native Indian boy who loves his native ancient traditions which includes respect for the Animal Kingdom. But his village has lost the old ways and no longer hold a praying ritual for the animals they hunt for food. But Little Cloud has proven he remains faithful to the ancient ways and prays to the Animal Kingdom begging to let them hunt them before the people starve. He promises them that his people will again hold the hunting rituals.and show respect to them as they did in ancient times. This story is adventurous and thrilling but has a moral behind it and where a young boy plays the hero role.
