Description

Get Heart to Heart with the Little Girl with the Great Big Voice; the tumultuous life of the country phenomenon who had the voice of an angel and rose from poverty and abuse to touch some of the biggest names in the business. In this candid autobiography, one of the female founders of rock and roll recounts her astonishingly dramatic life, filled with early poverty, tragic deaths, a non-existent childhood, a controlling manager, young elopement, illness, barely averted financial disaster, and one of show business's most durable marriages. And all the while, little Brenda Lee kept on singing. Brenda's life has touched some of the most legendary names in entertainment, such as Elvis Presley, Patsy Cline, Jerry Lee Lewis, Roy Orbison and Elton John, but her great big voice, filled with courage, determination and passion, is all her own.
