Broadcast live in 1976 from L.A.’s legendary Roxy Theatre, this dynamic set captures Long Island's ultimate son and former Velvet Underground front-man, Lou Reed, working through an eight-song selection of some of his finest work he had released up to that juncture. Together with the Everyman Band who would back up on Street Hassle in ‘78, free jazz icon Don Cherry adds regular, incendiary honks and bleeps for Reed’s iconic narratives and turns the set on its head while adding unique poses to Reed’s electric repertoire.
Timeline very proudly presents Lou Reed, live from the Roxy Theater, LA on December 1st 1976. Superb, professionally remastered KMET-FM broadcast with background liners and timeline photos.
