10 previously unreleased live tracks from their September 12, 1971 show at Meadowbrook, Rochester, Michigan. Not released until 1996, this was an unusual gig for the band, who were breaking in a new rhythm section (this may have been their first show) without much or any rehearsal. You can't tell from this CD, which offers a typically amorphous, freefloating set of black soul and rock. Includes ‘Maggot Brain’, ‘I Call My Baby Pussycat’, ‘Free Your Mind &Your Ass Will Follow’ and ‘Alice In My Fantasies’.
