Description

Sailing engages all the senses and requires an understanding of the natural processes in creation. It also allows for long, quiet times with others--free from distractions on land. Living in the Design draws upon parallels of God as revealed in the Scriptures with stories and life lessons of sailing. It is intended for use aboard a vessel but could be used on land. It can be studied by groups or individuals.

Author Biography:

Dave Stadler holds a US Coast Guard 100 ton Master License and is certified as an instructor through the American Sailing Association. Professionally, he has been a management consultant, financial services executive, and now works in public service. Jamie, a piano teacher and the choral director of their church, received her bareboat certification through ASA. Dave and Jamie enjoy sailing the Chesapeake Bay on their 42' Island Packet, Teleo. They live in Annapolis, Maryland.
