This webcam has upsides and downsides. I returned mine because sitting across an average width desk, with the webcam on top of my 25" monitor, the 90 degree field of view made me really small in the frame. When I changed the field of view the quality dropped dramatically, as it's basically cropping the image or doing a digital zoom. That's fine if you're in a meeting where you're small, but for meetings where you fill the screen you're going to look really pixelated or out of focus to others.
In my opinion, a field of view of 60 – 70 degrees is probably about right for a single person across a desk. 70 – 80 degrees is probably good for a person sitting close to the monitor or using a laptop. 90 – 100 degrees is probably about right for a meeting room.
Other than that it's good. Good white balance even when the light came through brown wooden blinds, it got the face about the right brightness when the background was bright, and all the other technical bits were good.
