This game is surprisingly well done. I wasn't expecting something so addictive when I had bought the game.

If you are a big fan of Monster Hunter series, this game will impress. Essentially it is with Guns, and not swords.

Multiplayer experience is the key in this game. Single player experience isn't that great but when you play with your friends, this game becomes great. You'd need a good sized TV to play split screen though. I have a 24" screen and its too small for it in multiplayer. Still doable, but not that great.

This was a great buy for the price I paid. It is an awesome game that definitely goes on my favourites list for PS3 games.

Great game, menus to get into the game are a little confusing but once your in its great, awesome creatures to fight, great graphics and online mode it wicked

This game is very well done and will keep you entertained for hours!. The single player is very fun and addicting and you will get to face a vast amount of enormous monsters on the way. You can also choose to play the single player, online, co-op which is always fun with your friends

The Multiplayer is also very addicting where you can level up, customize you character, guns, etc.

Overall a very enjoyable game which was at a really good price! Highly recommended

I find this game extremely fun for the fact that it can be played 2-player on storymode which is always good for when you have mates around. It can get pretty tricky at points but if you have another person there with you then it shouldnt be to hard. Also you can play story online so randoms can help you out. The animation is awesome and the story is a near miss. But its gets pretty entertaining when fighting against the giant aliens.

Epic monsters, nice graphics, huge guns, what's not to like. A cool game with plenty to collect and do. Shooting is well done with lots of variety. Gets repetitive but unlocks keep you coming back. Multiplayer is surprisingly good. Lots of online matches still being played so worth a purchase.

Had fun with the Co-op demo, was great, wasn't too hard to get used to, bit disappointed how you can't choose your own character till you've gone through the story once minimum (I think thats it), but after the multiplayer aspect of it is bloody horrid, do not like it, people take almost 2 clips at close range, its just a pain, haven't really touched it since getting it, Red Dead is sort of to blame for that though, THATS the way to do Multiplayer.

The Japanese have made some legendary games this being one of them in this new age classic the player fights towering monsters and rival factions through a range of environments and a vast collections of weapons and mechs aid the players conquest

Solid third person action game which delivered a great single player experience. Recommended to shooter fans.

Nice story line & play time, plenty of weapons to unlock.

This is an awesome third person shooter game. You can get hooked very easily. The online features improve the game greatly. You can go co-op in story mode or battle it out in team death matches etc. There's so much to obtain in the game from weapon upgrades to leveling up your character rankings and receiving character parts. The gameplay is really impressive. There's not much of a story line and the main menu is completely confusing when you first play it.. But the actual game play makes up for the downsides. For the price.. I think its worth every cent. An awesome sci fi action game!!

Despite the hard core mammoth game play efforts required to lock in game saves for each chapter, Lost Planet is a spectacle of the ages of gaming, be prepared for a tough fight, Although each mission in LOst Planet 2, is fairly short, you will have to perform many a mission to complete an episode even a chapter, you will need to complete an episode to reach save points; so be prepared to leave the PS3 on a lot or have to spare 90 minutes to master episodes, without them you have to replay missions over and over…

I found this game tough to pick and run with, and most likely because I did not play the first volume, however, Capcom could have invested some thinking for the new generation of players coming to the game, and made it a bit more user friendly.

Despite all the wrongs that need putting right; Lost Planet 2 is one of the most enjoyable games I have encountered, the akrids and various nations of enemies are all tactically unique, so there is a challenge around every corner, weaponry and assault status are ranked among the highest I have experienced; with a buffet of small and large arms to accomodate any engagement, this is a super fun game; if you have the time to engage the lengthy levels.

None the less; this is a tactical and challenging game, it boasts wonderfully engaging maps and slick high sheen graphics, visually this is a very appealing game, great multiplayer action, awesome customisation capabilities, excellent rewards and upgrades, decent skill structure and a smooth interface; once you take the time to perfect using it; loads of gameplay, 50hrs plus at least, this is well worth the money.

Get your self sorted with Lost Planet 2; clear your weekend schedule, and get amongst the gun powder.

Has a good story line and tons of action. A bit light on weapons selection but not so light as to put you off.

lost planet 2 is a very strong 3rd preson shooter with very few flaws, so if your a fan of the genre this is a must buy.

the campaign is good fun and decently sized with a variety of different locations. the multiplayer is also good but as of 2011 the multiplayer community for the game may be small.

but overall it is a easily reccomendable game

For starters Big doesn't come short in this game you are but a mere human that gets put againest huge monsters 4X-50X bigger than you. Which in saying that makes this game awesome!! There is also the customersation of the character going from looks to abilities to weapons as well as leveling up your character also including the mutiplayer online making it a long game if your willing to get everything.Ba­sically if your down for MASSIVE beasts and taking them on with everything you got including machines and a crap load of weapons then this game is perfect for you. “Go show them that bigger isn't always better”

Overall a great game but is alot better played online.

Action packed, storyline wasn't the best I'd ever seen, but it kept me engaged well enough. The list of weapons available are amazing and you're constantly having to make quick decisions about which weapon you want to equip based on your current situation. The single player campaign is enjoyable enough, albeit your teammates' A.I.s being somewhat frustrating, it comes to a point where it no longer matters whether or not they live or die. Multiplayer is where the game truly shines though, and Lost Planet 2 certainly delivers. Fast paced action, intuitive controls and a unique T-Eng resource system keeps you interested, as well as all the unlockable features and character customization. Well worth the money, definitely a keeper

He loved it :o) The graphics are awesome and it makes for absolutely spot on gaming.

This game is definitely worth the price! Very different type of style and can be abit slow…but give a try and find out!

Brilliant game.lots of levels,the game play is fast and the graphic's are cool,I would recommend this game to anyone who likes third person shooters,this is one of my top ten
