In the 1953 film, Wendy Darling and her two brothers are amazed when a magical boy named Peter Pan flies into their bedroom in pursuit of his rebellious shadow. Enchanted, the siblings follow him and his pixie friend, Tinker Bell, back to Never Land, where children stay perpetually young. When Pan’s nemesis, the pirate Captain Hook, causes trouble, the Darlings begin to miss their old life.
An eerie setting for pirate misdeeds, Skull Rock comes to life in applique and eroded printed details on the front pocket. Water fills the backpack, leading up to a star-filled sky, where silhouettes of Peter Pan and Tinker Bell take flight above Captain Hook’s ship. Never Land takes its place on one of the side pockets, while a compass is featured on the other. On the back, you’ll find Smee rowing Captain Hook.
