It's funny in places, it's sad in places, it shows just how people react, when they are really screwed. Watch, look, and learn. These women did it all by themselves. Women today are still reeking the benefits.

Such a great movie Folks who understand the ford motor company and equal rights must watch this so so good
As a female and feminist, I was excited to see this movie and its portrayal of the struggle of women for equal rights.
I was not let down. The movie was funny, uplifting and well-acted. I cried, I laughed, and I held my head high. It's a great movie that really exhibits a powerful piece of history as well as showcasing female strength.
I found no offence with this and actually thought it suitable to the time period and environment, but some might be offended by the language used in the film. This is just a minor warning for those people who consider it a “family movie”.
Made in Dagenham
The film stars the award winning Sally Hawkins as Rita O'Grady who is the catalyst for the 1968 Ford Dagenham strike by 187 sewing machinists which led to the advent of the Equal Pay Act. Working in extremely impoverished conditions for long arduous hours.
