Hyperuricemia is indicative of a high level of uric acid in the blood (>7mg/dl for men, >6mg/dl for women).The hyperuricemia may indicate an increased risk of gout.It is estimated that approximately 15 of every 1,000 males between 35 and 45 years of age have hyperuricemia.
