Author Biography
Dr Marion O'Donnell has been involved in the Montessori movement in Queensland for the past thirty years, filling the roles of Queensland Co-ordinator of MWEI (Aust.) Inc., Secretary of the Queensland Montessori Association (which accorded her a Life Membership), and acting year-by-year as Examiner, Tutor and Workshop Presenter for MWEI. Her professional worklife has been in teaching after training at Jordanhill Scotland, with extended periods in Scotland, NSW, Ontario and Queensland. During the 1980s and 1990s, she worked as lecturer/tutor at the Queensland University of Technology and as Researcher/Tutor at the University of Queensland. Her Montessori credentials include a Nursery School Diploma (St. Nicholas, London); the Mont. Dip. Preschool/Primary (MWEI, California); the Dip.of Mont. Educ. (MWEI Aust.)
