Culled from the teaching syllabus of the MGH's world leading psychiatry review course this will cover all the topics presented on the oral and written psychiatry boards, including all information on new psychopharmacologic advances. The presentation of the material adheres to the structure and format of the certification exams, as over 300 cases (oral board portion) and 1200 multiple choice questions (written boards). A concise paragraph dictating the rationale for correct and incorrect answers will also accompany each case and battery of questions.
Author Biography
Theodore A. Stern, M.D., is associate professor of Psychiatry at Harvard Medical School and a psychiatrist at Massachusetts General Hospital, where he serves on numerous committees. As part of his many teaching responsibilities he serves as co-leader of the Scientific Writing Course for the Clinical Research Center and as Director of the Resident Psychiatric Consultation/Liaison Service at MGH. He is author or co-author of many research articles and several professional books, as well as many book chapters. Dr. Stern received his B.A. and his M.D. from NYU.
