A personified character trait is licensed and sent onto the face of the Earth to walk in human form in an attempt to solve problems, assist human beings and resolve issues caused by immaturity and immature actions. Due to Maturity's unique make-up as he engages and tries to help the human beings he encounters (Helplings) in order to fulfil his remit, he quickly discovers that his quest is slightly more complex than initially imagined as an ugly opposition presents itself in the form of the shirkers Temptation, Fear and Terror that challenge and oppose him, fortunately however he is also assisted in his quest by Empathy, Comfort and Patience and together the four battle to try to help save humanity from its own immaturity.
