Description

Maybe is a collection of poetry and illustrations brought to you by Cory Allen and Daniel Edwards. According to Allen, his poetry is based on the conceptual development versus literary strength hoping to appeal to the MTV generation and reality television junkies; hoping to help the rebirth of poetry. He challenges the traditional design of past pieces by inserting poems that focus on the interaction of the reader, conveying multiple meanings that all stand alone, but belong as a collection as one would comprehend when visiting an art gallery. Allen's entertaining perspective on poetry has allowed him to host a variety of diverse poems, a half-time special, and attempts to cover a poem that normally would be heard or seen like a song covered by another artist or when a film is remade. He conveys that Maybe is not a book, but a pocket art gallery for all to experience.

Author Biography:

Poet Cory Allen, also known as an art promoter, is the founder of Cory Allen Contemporary Art (CACA). Since early childhood, he has been an avid poet, heavily influenced by horror films, art and challenging life experiences. His involvement with contemporary art has compelled him to strive to evolve Pop Art into a style fashion that baffles the critics. Allen has one son, Trae, who is guaranteed to surpass his work. Maybe... is Cory Allen's first book of poetry.
