Medal of Honor Underground from DreamWorks Interactive features the story of Manon, the young member of the French Resistance introduced as Jimmy Patterson’s ‘control’ in the original Medal of Honor. Set prior to the start of the original Medal of Honor game, Medal of Honor Underground looks at the time when Nazi confidence was high --- they occupied France, saw Italy join their Axis and believed the fortress by which they held Europe was impenetrable.

We are introduced to Manon. Her country has been taken over, her city occupied and her home destroyed. Help won’t arrive for another four years. She understands her choices are to surrender … or resist. Thus, we see her journey from a naïve member of one of France’s first resistance movements to that of a seasoned veteran recruited by the OSS who ultimately becomes a key figure in the Allied invasion at Normandy.

Staying true to all the gameplay features that made Medal of Honor one of the most acclaimed and best-selling games launched in 1999, Medal of Honor Underground will build on the success of that game and add new player weapons, new enemy vehicles such as tanks and motorcycles, smarter enemy AI, buddy AI, new fixed weapons, more secret areas to find and take advantage of story opportunities to send Manon to interesting and exciting locations.
