Description

Kenny and his dog, Poochy, live in a small town close to the forest and mountains. They like to hike, fish, and explore caves and secret places. While exploring a cave, they encounter a strange new animal that looks like a bear but has wings like a bird and the feet of a mountain goat. Poochy asked the funny-looking creature, "Strange animal, what are you?" The animal answered in a sad voice, "I am a Bambearzo." The Bambearzo feels alone, rejected, and bullied by the other animals. Kenny and Poochy help him to like himself and to find acceptance.

Author Biography:

Robert Tripp was born and raised in Idaho. In his advanced schooling, he has a B.A. degree in English and an M.S. degree in Marriage and Family Counseling. He taught Jr. and High School for three years and then worked as a marriage and family counselor for 35 years. He is presently retired.Meet the Bambearzo is his first children's book in a series of Kenny and Poochi's "A Lesson Learned" stories which provide fun, adventure, and meaning for elementary-age children.
