Metal Gear Rising reviews

While a bit on the short side, the gameplay is solid, I loved every second of it. The soundtrack is rad and extremely fitting. An overall outstanding action game. Sorry about the pun.

It goes far beyond the traditional Metal Gear Solid Games but its no disappointment!

Good game. Raiden the main protagonist is more of a hacking and slashing kind of guy, hes not stealthy, youd know this if youve played the older MGS games, so If your expecting to this game to be like the others, then youll be dissapointed

This is a terrible game. Holds nothjing to the normal stealth and options that Snake offers. This game simply involves Raiden running around weilding his sword. SOme of the game challenges are ridiculous.

Even though this game wasn't made by hideo it's still very fun and well worth it i'd rate it 10/10 even though it's somewhat of a short game.

Not your typical Metal Gear stealth game play, yet an awesome addition to the series. Fantastic game play with a healthy challenge.

The soundtracks for the bosses are badass, makes you all pump up and slice the crap outta anything comes in your way. The combat itself its fast pace and the parry system its great, once you get the hang off it. Overall if you like slicing your enemies into pieces while enjoying badass soundtracks and epic boss battles this game its for you.

This should not be part of the MGS franchise, I was very disappointed because I expected what we got in previous releases. Would be very much at home in an arcade.

This is hardly the same as the past games. The other games were more about sneaking around and not fighting, but this is more about silly cyborg attacks. This is a good game if you like fight em games but if your more into those ones where you need to think things through, this isn't probably for you.

For $10 you can't go wrong. Very different to the Metal Gear games I'm used to, however, it is quite good. Collection is almost complete :)

One of the best actions game ever made.

Definitely enjoyed the story, plenty of action with jaw dropping fights, would of been good if a lot like a metal gear.

If you liked the God of War games you'll like this game, but as a MASSIVE fan of the MGS series with all it's stealth, this game doesn't feel like a true Metal Gear game. It's a pretty game and good mechanics but there is more of a focus on killing than stealth I think which is not what these games a supposed to be about.
