All women are hurting, some more than others. Through experience, I developed a love and passion for hurt women. In my books, I reach out and let women know, "I see you. I hear you. You matter." I have worn numerous hats in my life. I am a US Air Force veteran, obtained my Bachelor's degree and worked as a critical care RN for a decade, and owned a Personal Chef and Catering company for six years. After all of that, I turned my attention back to my family and raising my children. I have not become a couch potato. I cooked at the weekly church dinners, volunteered for the Celebrate Recovery ministry, and volunteered as a Mentor Mom for two MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) groups. In writing, I try to show women a path away from the hurt. No two women are alike, but there are some universal truths: 1. You are important. 2. You are here for a reason. 3. Your past does not define your future. Look forward, not back. The common theme in all of my books is they are free of explicit language and content, but rich in the deeper issues of life, regardless of genre.
