This story picks up where Secrets in the Attic left off. This is the adventures of Carl Wilson, son of Mark Wilson, a chip off the old block as my grandma would say. Carl is about to embark on his quest to bring back his grandparents, two missing pieces to a complete family. Would this young man in his teens survive a trip into the city when all he knows is wilderness living and nothing of the modern world? Setting out for the cold, dark, gray city with only a few clues on how to find his grandparents is only half the battle. Would his grandparents believe who he says he is? Would they turn him in to the state? What of the dangers of getting caught? These questions and more run through Carl's mind as he prepares to seek out the missing pieces of his family. Author Profile David and Debbie Paton are the authors of Missing Pieces, the sequel to Secrets in the Attic. David and Debbie also work with the childrens ministry in their home church helping the kids do dramas for the childrens service. By day David works at his day job like most folks, but at night his thoughts are bursting out and he is eager to put pen to paper. Debbie, on the other hand, works hard correcting and refining the books they write together. They make a wonderful team, and they hope you enjoy reading this book and the others they will write in the future.
