Description

Missing is written in the time-honored tradition of a good-old spy thriller. It's a "who-done-it" intensified by the intrigue of a Middle Eastern hide-and-seek, and a frantic search for a stash of gold that may not even exist. The plot questions whether Saddam hid millions of dollars in gold before his capture, why a suspicious cargo was loaded onto an airliner that was later reported lost over the Indian Ocean; and how that airliner subsequently ended up on a non-existent island in the middle of nowhere. In the midst of all these questions, is the issue of whether U.S. Agent Craig "Coop" Cooper will be able to find the sniper who almost took his life?

Author Biography:

Mike Paull, a native of the San Francisco Bay Area, had two passions that preceded his writing career. He is a licensed dentist and a licensed commercial pilot. In 2000, he retired from the dental practice and devoted his time to recreational flying. In 2010, he retired from flying and embarked on his new career-writing. Mike's first book, Tales from the Sky Kitchen Caf, is a series of short stories describing his experiences as a pilot hanging out in a small airport coffee shop. His next series of books, the Brett Raven Mystery Trilogy, features a dentist as the protagonist and mystery solver. Missing, a spy thriller, is Mike's newest creation. Mike and his wife Bev now live two hundred miles north of San Francisco in Chico, CA.
