Author Biography:

Tav Shande is a multi-award-winning artist and children's book author with a lifelong curiosity for art, science, and storytelling. Growing up in West Africa, Tav's passion for reading and writing sparked early. At just age nine, he wrote and illustrated "Mr. Hatch Lit the Match" after helping extinguish a house fire, imparting lessons on fire-setting and fire safety.After earning a degree in computer art from The Savannah College of Art and Design, Tav left a mark on the video game industry for over two decades, contributing to some of the world's most iconic games while at Electronic Arts, Activision, and Crytek. Transitioning to the autonomous vehicle sector, he used his artistic skills to train AI robots to drive safely.Featured in The New York Times, Elle, Cosmopolitan, Kotaku, 80.LV, and more, Tav's influence extends beyond gaming. His Fortnite creation, "Big City Tycoon: SF Life (9235-5038-4833)," was recognized plus featured by Epic Games, and he was interviewed in the Silicon Valley documentary "Utopia." An invited speaker at Meta (formerly Facebook), Tav's diverse experiences converge at www.tavshande.com, where he continues to blend art, technology, and storytelling.
