Complete with a plot twist and satisfying resolution, this story is sure to pull on your heartstrings. I especially enjoyed Ms. Jones's positive message and her reference to the well-known fairy tale, The Three Little Pigs. She used a familiar plotline to tell a story about brave children who are not afraid to stand up to their community in defense of an innocent friend. Mr. Wolf Clears His Name would be a great story to use in a classroom. Its important theme is a fantastic starting point for discussion and debate, especially those focused on social-emotional learning or social justice.
