Mika Koontz is an American and Japanese writer and professional home organizer. She grew up between California, Hawaii, and Japan. As an adult, she has lived the life of a local, nomad, and expat in various countries around the world- in the U.S., Europe, Africa, and Asia.She's had a love of the ocean since she was a child, and has traveled around the world backpacking and surfing. Therefore, it only seems right that her first published book is a cute and magical children's picture book on water safety.
