Charles Monroe is diagnosed with a terminal illness and he decides to give the love of his life, Alicia Wellington one last perfect holiday, he has to contend with giving her an impeccable time and putting a lid on the melancholy of his impending demise, it bears down on his mind even as he tries to make her happy one last time, he even dreads breaking the news to her, wary of the devastating effects it would have on her, but it is inevitable, he has to tell her at one time or the other, but what is a loss can be a strength, the story then gives a subtle hint at the life of Alicia Wellington after the main narrative. If you are a lover of the book "My true love gave to me" by Regina Scott and other contemporary romance novels, you will enjoy reading this book, a different angle to the aforementioned book with a plethora of intrigue; it will certainly be worth your while, have a read.
