'Named and Shamed' is the story of the NSW Independent Commission Against Corruption investigation that led to sensational claims of sex for approval of development applications, extortion by conmen, and political corruption that licked at the heels of a state government. It is a Wollongong story but also a tale that could be set anywhere in Australia. The story is told through the eyes of Rod Oxley, former CEO of Wollongong City Council, who gives his account of the ICAC investigation and findings, and the impact the scandal has had on him personally and on Wollongong as a whole.

She began her career as a radio journalist and spent more than ten years in regional television. Neryl has a PhD and a Master of Arts in Journalism from the University of Wollongong.
