Bhalla is former Fellow, Sidney Sussex College, Cambridge, UK; Special Adviser to the President of International Development Research Centre (IDRC), Ottawa; Hallsworth Professorial Fellow, Manchester University and Research Associate, Yale University. He is the author of several books on different subjects including Asia’s Trouble Spots: The Leadership Question in Conflict Resolution.
