Description

It's race day! The cars are in the pits for one last check until the driver zips her jumpsuit, squeezes through the window of her car and is pushed to the starting line. Author Biography:

Gail Tuchmanhas had a dual career as a publishing industry executive and a prolific writer of children's fiction and nonfiction. She has long been involved in early reading programs both as a publisher and an author, and has developed several of Scholastic's evergreen product lines for the educational market. Gail lives in New York City.
